CAN I RETURN THE ARTWORK I PURCHASED?

All sales of original artwork are final. We are unable to refund any original artwork items if this is due to a change of circumstance or change of heart. If your item arrives and is damaged or is lost in the mail, please contact us as we can assist you in claiming a refund through the mailing service that delivered your item and arrange sending a replacement to you.

I PURCHASED A PAINTING BUT NOW IT’S ON SALE. CAN I HAVE THE DISCOUNT APPLIED RETROSPECTIVELY?

Absolutely! We are happy to issue you a retrospective discount if the purchase was made within a week of the beginning of the sale.

MY ARTWORK ARRIVED DAMAGED OR WAS NOT DELIVERED OR WAS LOST OR WAS STOLEN FROM MY DOORSTEP. IS THIS SOMETHING YOU CAN HELP WITH?

We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (Royal Mail domestically or USPS/DPD internationally), and we are not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. We work hard to package each order with care in sturdy flat mailers and tubes so that it arrives undamaged, and we suggest you handle your new artwork with care when framing and stretching. Please be kind when reaching out and remember that we do not run the post office or postal service, and we have no control over the treatment of your package in transit! It’s just as much of a bummer for us to see damaged prints as it is for you to receive them.

That being said, this is how we typically handle situations that fall outside of our control:

Damaged Artwork: If your print is damaged in transit we are happy to handle this on a case by case basis with individuals who are able to provide details and documentation of the damage. Creasing and bends can be flattened and ironed out (see FAQ's). You may be asked to file a claim with the shipping service. We are unable to replace for free any artwork damaged after delivery, so please place your art in a place away from possible water, sunlight or heat damage, and handle the artwork with care when framing and stretching.

Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. We are unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. This does happen occasionally, and it is not uncommon to have the package returned here to the studio. If that is the case, we are more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though we ask that you pay for the postage. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost, stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do on our end, so we are unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly. If a package is unable to be delivered, and is returned to our studio, we are happy to reship, but ask that you pay the for the additional postage. We are unable to repaint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, or stolen.

I ORDERED MY PAINTING WEEKS AGO - WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT DELIVERY?

My new 'limited commissions list' enables me to take on a limited number of commissions each month. I will open my shop on the 1st of each month, and have all paintings completed and shipped form my studio by the end of that same month, unless agreed otherwise with the customer directly. Shipping depends on the carrier service; Domestic (Royal Mail - UK mainland only) can take anywhere from 2-5 working days depending on the time of year. International postage can take from 5-28 days. All original artwork is sent with a tracking number, so can be tracked. It is not unusual for international items to be held up at customs, particularly in the USA. If there is a delay with your item, then please contact the courier company directly to resolve this.

HOW WILL MY ITEM/S BE PACKAGED?

We take the greatest care when packaging and posting your items. A4 and A5 artwork will be delicately wrapped in tissue paper and then packaged in to a hard box which is then placed in to a recyclable strong paper mailing bag.

A3 art is wrapped in a cello bag and rolled, then placed in to a hard cardboard mailing tube. It is very common for A3 artwork to arrive creased, as it is rolled. Please lay your artwork flat for 12-24 hours to try and flatten any creases. If there are still creases after this time, the artwork can be ironed out with a regular, clean clothes iron that is free from any current burn marks or scuffs. Please see the 'how to iron out artwork' section in our FAQ's for more details on this.

Please email embabyart@gmail.com (quoting your order number in the email subject heading) if you have any questions about your order, and we will work with you to sort out any issues!
